We Need Item 289 …. And We Got It !!!

TODAY, Virginia’s 2006-2008 Biennial Budget includes a new program for people living with HIV/AIDS in Virginia and have Medicare Part D. Item 289 will help maintain their HIV medications. Item 289 provides $300,000 each year (that’s all!) to create State Pharmaceutical Assistance Program (SPAP).
