With the support of people like you, VORA can continue to fight to end the spread of HIV in Virginia!

VORA will:

  • Maintain Virginia's only comprehensive online list of public and private HIV-testing sites
  • Maintain up-to-date information about HIV and AIDS, with links to the experts and the service providers in our state
  • Support citizen visits to Virginia Delegates and Senators, so that they can talk about what Virginia can do to stop the spread of HIV
  • Organize AIDS Awareness Day each year that brings over 70 people from across the state during the General Assembly Session to speak out in support of strong HIV prevention and treatment policies
  • Provided leadership to the Northern Virginia HIV Consortium Public Affairs Committee
  • Do our best to be the voice of persons living with HIV in Virginia throughout the year

All of this was accomplished with only two part-time staff. Thank you for your support.  Through your contribution VORA's Board, Staff, and Volunteers educate the public about the AIDS epidemic in our state, and share with elected officials what they can do to stop this disease in OUR state. While we recognize that no single organization can address all aspects of HIV/AIDS, we believe we can make a meaningful contribution and are committed to do so.

Sincerely,
Sue
