[NotesFromSue]: It’s Voter Registration Season — Spread the Word!!

This fall, we have the opportunity to voice our opinions at the polls — ALL of the House of Delegates is up for election, and the Governor will be replaced by either Tim Kaine, Jerry Kilgore, or Russ Potts.

"Those who want a say in the Nov. 8 statewide election have until a week from Tuesday to register to vote.

Voters unable to go the polls on Election Day have until Nov. 3 to mail absentee ballots or until Nov. 5 to fill out the ballots in person.

Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m."

Kathy Stills' article published in yesterday's Bristol Herald Courier reminds us all that if we are not registered to vote in this fall's election, we're out of the conversation! (By the way, I added the bolding to Kathy's words.)

For those Virginians eligible to vote — this is a critical step in the process …

Not sure that you are registered? Visit the website link that's below — there are even links there now to allow you to check the STATUS of your registration. Not sure if your registration is still valid? Look it up! Takes just a minute …
Not sure where to register? Go there and find that out, too!

OK, so just to reiterate, Voter Registration is required by Tuesday, October 11th in order to vote in this year's Nov 8th statewide elections.

Please! Don't miss it!
