The report that we received is that "The Smith-Bingaman amendment to strike all Medicaid cuts passed by a vote of 52-48.

Good news sometimes includes some not-so-good news — and in our case, neither Virginia Senator Allen nor Senator Warner voted as we would prefer.

Notes from you to Senators Allen and Warner asking about those votes could help us to understand why they both opposed the Smith-Bingaman amendment. Should you hear any responses from either Senator, please share your news with us at VORA.
