AIDS Watch was May 8 – 10, 2006 and we were proud to represent Virginia in Washington, DC! We met with our state’s Congressional Delegation, and represented Virginia well.

We are most grateful to Congresswoman Joann Davis who met with us personally. Wade Manear (a constituent of Congresswoman Davis), Kristy Snowden and Sue Rowland talked with Mrs. Davis for quite some time, sharing with her the impacts of federal funding and support for HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services for Virginians living with HIV/AIDS in her district.

We will again work with the NAPWA to insure that Virginia’s represented at AIDS Watch 2007. Watch this space for details as they are developed early next year.
